Tartan Drummer has returned to Ohio. He was sold to Mike & Dona McGilvray, Woodrow, Colorado in January 1997 where he stood as herd sire for thirteen seasons. Thank you to Mike & Dona for taking such good care of him. He is coming on sixteen years, but looks to be more like a five year old. Drummer was shown successfully as a youngster, winning a number of classes in the midwest including 1st in the National Yearling Futurity class and he was selected Reserve All-American twice. We hope to breed a couple of our mares to him and look forward to a new generation of Tartan foals to show.

Congratulations and thank you to Senhorita Priscila Castro of Brazil on her purchase of Tartan Atticus. The HARAS Bandeirantes rancho in Rio de Janeiro is one of the first to import Clydesdales into Brazil and they will be the first to attempt to breed Clydesdales in Brazil. Tartan Atticus will soon be a foundation sire in that country as at least one mare is in foal to him for 2010.
